Hi Al,
It seems there is no plan for a reunion this year? Just checking as I was planning to be in town in July and certainly would not want to miss it. You have done a lot to keep it all together, and while I have not been able to attend since our 50th birthday, I appreciate your efforts and Dave Manco's too. Best regards, Marylou Nesbitt
Hi Al,
I hope this finds you well. Not sure where the rumor came from, but I will not be able to D J the picnic. I assume there has not been any dances at Siebs? Sorry that all fizzled out!
Al... I hope this finds you well. I am interested in doing the February dance at Siebs, but I am currently booked for 2/15, so any other weekend will be fine.
Mike
Hello Al Smith, Hope you are doing well and that you enjoyed your time with everyone at this years reunion.
My updated email address is: carlene.deasy@gmail. See you next year! Carlene Reinhart Deasy
How about a tribute to the 1963 Bellevue Colts and the coaching of Pete Hoffman and Jim Woods
Thanks Al for your continued leadership. I'm not going to make it this year. I'm sure it will be fabulous. Give my best to our classmates.
Hi Al... Congratulations -- I heard it was a grand success ( again) !
I was in for a funeral, thus last minute, so I'm looking forward to next year.. my class's 40th
Thank you Al. I've missed the previous get togethers despite being only 5 mins away... We all have busy lives. Bound and determined to get to the next one.
Hi Al: I' m so sorry I have not responed to your email before this. Susan, Chip and I planned to attend the Reunion, but as you know "stuff" always happens. I love looking at the pictures and we hope to attend next year (hopefully there will be another reunion). Its great to see the people and remember the good times at BHS!!!!!!!!
Al:
That would be great. By the way, I wondered if you have thought of organizing this site by class year or at least having a class year update for notes about people that graduate in a certain year.. Separately, my brother Jim - class of 73 - passed away unexpectedly about two years ago - and I wanted to let his old classmates know that. How can that be done? Bob
Al... I would be happy to do the next picnic. It will all depend as it did this year with how it all falls with my annual vacation to the shore. It is always taken the last week in July.
Mike
Thanks Al. I just found out about this site, and really enjoyed looking at all the photos from the recent reunion. I hate to say it, but I don't recognize too many people. Probably because I haven't seen them in about.....40 years.... is there any way the pics can be tagged with names?
Al: Thank you for the warm welcome. I know of Monk B . watched him play when he was at FSU. Blocked more than a few punts and field goals.
While I went to North C. I spent most of my time hanging out with Bellevue kids. I too rember climbing over the fence to get into the games, the "snake-dances" down Lincoln Ave. then going into Islays for a 25 cent milk shake. The last time I was in Bellevue was for my sisters funeral. As I looked at the pictures on the website, I was amazed at how many of the folks I knew. I had an Uncle who lived in Zelienople, he had a small farm and a great little fishing pond. Spent lots of great hours with John Clifton fishing, drinking beer and generally hanging out. I have lost touch with most of the people I knew from Bellevue. Ran into Eugene "Mercury" Morris about a year ago. He was speaking to the Tallahassee Touchdown Club. He and Nato were close. I will close for now, and thanks for the welcome. BTW UCF is a great school, actually one of the largest in the country. Let me know if you are ever in Tallahassee. Dick 850-556-6820 |
